Guest guest
Hi, a couple of months ago I posted here about how taking sea salt made me feel sick (I even threw up once or twice), as I found the taste of salt in my mouth absolutely disgusting (I know there are those who say that " with sea salt, you'll finally understand what salt is supposed to taste like; uhhh, it's so good! " ; but frankly, I don't get it (which, IMO makes sense, as humans aren't meant to drink salt water)). Anyway, I've recently found a way to take my daily dose without being utterly repelled by it: I take the recommended amount (like 1/4 teaspoon), place it on the very back of my tongue, and immediately afterwards take a huge gulp of tomato juice. Because tomato juice goes quite well with salt (and is, in fact, often salted) and so thick, it pretty much neutralizes the taste/texture of the salt in my mouth and it's easy to swallow. Thought I'd share this; maybe it helps somebody who's had the same problem. Those huge vitamin pills go a lot easier with tomato juice as well. antigone
