Guest guest
Cooky about ten years ago my right heel started to hurt and after about two weks I went to see an orthopetic doctor and he told me after the x-ray that I had a heel fracture. I had a cast put on it, when I had the problem with the left heel he put a boot on. This is a problem with RA I was told. You may have to go to see the nice orthopedic doc to get this checked. Mine called it a spontanoues fracture. Best wishes for Easter, don't eat to much candy. LOL:) Eva From: Cooky Stonkey <cookee1@...> Subject: rheumatic heel bone " rheumatic " <rheumatic > Date: Thursday, April 9, 2009, 5:00 PM Hi wonderful people, I hope there are a few of you here and have not left for Easter holidays yet. I have rheumatoid and fibro and have been in remission with minor flares for 11 years. Three yrs ago I fractured 2 metatarsals on the right foot. Pain off and on. The last year more on than off in the area. Oh how dumb I am ! I ass umed it was from the fracture and refused to try pads. Two weeks ago I put in one metatarsal pad (right foot only). Amazing.no more pain. Two days later my left heel began to hurt anytime I walked. Not on the base but on the back bone. The bone feels like it has no padding and is just a raw bone rubbing. Ok so I know what you do for one side of the body you do for the other.nope.pad not working. Getting major pain now then went away for the weekend and ran after a 3 yr old and a 5 yr old. My DIL who is not a medical person said " oh it looks like you have a wart forming. my hubby had the same pain! " Since I got home I have tried heel pads and arch supports of every kind...it is not as bad but if I sit and am off the site all the pain comes back. I REALLY do not want to see a darn specialist. Anybody have any idea. This only started since I put in the metatarsal pad! Thanks for listening. cooky
Guest guest
Thanks Eva. I really hate orthopods.they are so arrogant! I will give it another week. I just ate a ton of candy for Valentine day and am still paying for it! I will not be eating too much. Hope your Easter is beautiful. cooky Cooky about ten years ago my right heel started to hurt and after about two weks I went to see an orthopetic doctor and he told me after the x-ray that I had a heel fracture.
