sleep apnea and thyroid/adrenal problems

Well, I did the sleep study last week that my new doctor wanted me to do. He

says that I do have some mild apnea and wants me to go back for a second

night with a cpap machine. Apparently I do snore. You just have to tape a

microphone on my throat to pick it up. I don't stop breathing, but the air

flow in and out isn't even. He feels that the apnea is what has caused my

adrenals to become fatigued and if we treat the apnea along with the

adrenals, they have a good chance to heal. He is also open to keeping track

of my thyroid levels in case they change with the adrenal treatment.

Personally, I would prefer to treat my adrenals and thyroid for a while and

see if that helps the apnea. Has anyone else here had mild apnea clear up

when these were treated? The biggest problem I have right now is that this

guy is primarily a sleep doctor. He's the only one I've found that seems to

have even half a clue about adrenals and thyroid. Should I just go along

with the cpap machine so he'll keep treating me for the rest, or ask him to

wait on it? Thanks in advance!

Go for it!

I have had really bad sleep apnea turn into just bad sleep apnea with

agressive treatment, and it has helped, some.

As Queen Sheba said to King , " catch us the little foxes that spoil the

vineyard. "

Get rid of the little stresses. They can add up quickly to BIG STRESS. "
