Hi ,

I have a question for those in the USA. How do people on social security and

on Embrel and other high cost rheumatoid drugs. get them paid for..after the

donut hole.?

These drugs cost an arm and a leg and I would think after only a few months

a person would hit the donut hole and I don' know of any drug

insurance(associated with S.S.) that pays for name brand after you pay your

part. If the drug companies give them to you free of charge you have to

have a low income and nothing in the bank to qualify. So how do people stay

on these year after year?

Does the doctor write to social security? Or to the drug insurance

companies?

I hope someone has an answer.

Thanks

cooky
