Guest guest
I only know of using the cream when digestion gets bad. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Hi , You can use 1% Hc cream instead. But it over the counter. It saved me my tummy was in bits!! When I was in need of explanation of how to use Barb and Val posted this: 1% HC cream contians 10MG per 1/4 teaspoon. I put it on my abdomen, trunk, hips, mainly, but have put in on thighs and on shins. 1/4 tsp (10 mg) is rather a lot to rub into a small area, so I use larger areas of skin for my larger doses. I normally use only the cream, and doses equal 10 mg (1/4 tsp), 7.5 mg (1/8 tsp plus 1/16 tsp), 5 mg (1/8 tsp), 2.5 mg (1/16 tsp). >>>It has been calculated that each gram of HC cream from the drugstore/grocery store/Walmart has 11.66mg of cortisol which you could round off to 10mg and that 1 gram equals 1/4 tsp.<<< You should be able to find an oral syringe (for dispensing liquid medications to babies) at the drug store in the same section with thermometers and daily pill boxes. You can use this conversion to figure out your doses: 1.25ML of cream equals 1/4 tsp which equals 10MG HC What I'm doing is popping out the plunger, squirting the HC tube into the syringe, and then just squeezing out what we need for each dose. Mine even has a cap. For simplicity's sake, I just use .6 ml = 5 mg HC. This equates to moving the plunger down by 3 notches, since each notch = .2 ml. Also, everyone says you get better absorption with the cream anyway, so rounding down makes sense. In the actual mathematical calculation, 1/4 tsp = 11.66mg (they rounded down to 10 for simplicity). So technically, .6 ml = 5.6 mg, but again, they rounded down to 5 for simplicity's sake. I guess you could round up, then it would be easy to remember that .1 ml = 1 mg. And actually, since absorption is better through the skin, this might make more sense. In the end though, I don't think these minor roundings are significant. It's the rhythm and consistency of your dosing that matters. , I got 1 ml syringes and fill to .9 which is equal to 7.5mg of HC then if I want 5mg I squeeze from .9 down to .3 and for 2.5mg it's .3 down to 0... Hope this isn't too confusing! I'm sure you're tummy will be better in no time as soon as you make the change over. Mine took a week to calm down but I think I had some sort of infection going on there too. All the best to you, Sara > > > Can you recommend any other way to take oral hc, other than swallowing > it? Guest guest
Is there any way to take the oral hc bucally or sublingually?
Guest guest
I would not recommend ti as puttin g it in a small area that may be prone to fungsl infections would be asking for troubke, though I have not heard of it causing probems that way so may be worth a try. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
