Anyone know much about anti-CCP?

So, an update on my lab results. I do not have hereditary hemachromatoisis

(which can cause joint pain). I keep searching for another, less serious

diagnosis than RA. I first ran across the information that parvo virus B19 can

infect humans, can cause symmetrical joint pain, and can raise rheumatoid

factor. But it resolves itself after a few weeks to months.

Anyway, my rheumatoid factor is down from 409, but is still significantly high

(in the mid 300s). the odd thing is that my anti-ccp has increased roughly 50%

from 90 to 136. (60 and up is considered high). I don't have a rheumy and my GP

didn't even know what anti-ccp was, she just ran the lab at my request. My

question is, does anyone know what this means? My first anti-ccp was tested in

July. So in just five months, it has gone up. But with the UltraClear cleanse,

eliminating wheat and gluten, and being on antibiotics since early September, I

am actually doing better than I was this summer. It doesn't make sense to me.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Amy

Just a thought, Bartonella is a viral disease that my cat has...and that humans

can get...the treatment is zitromax for humans and cats....it can cause joint

pain as well....I treated my cat, she sneezes all the time...and then had the

DRs treat me.

Hi Deb,

Merry Christmas! Did you feel any better on Zithromax? Did it cause any

problems for you? If it did not maybe you could use erythromycin or even

zithromax for the rheumatic problems you have?!

Hello Friends,

Today I have completed 6 months of AP (100mg once MWF). I still think of myself

as " new " to this group.....and then, GADS! 6 months have gone by. Can't say I'm

feeling any better...or worse. One of my main problems is needing hip

replacement and wanting to wait until spring. But I've noticed it's getting

harder to even get around with my walker. Also concerned with my knees. My

left one is constantly flared. I'm on 1mg pred. and hoping to stop it 12/24.

Do any of you have your toes buckled? Will they ever unbuckle?? Only with this

group can I ask these kinds of questions!LOL My fingers are still straight, but

if I'm doing something that bends a finger, sometimes the finger won't straiten

up and I have to pull it back up. This is quite a race we're on, hopefully the

AP stays one step ahead of the disease.

Sweet Christmas to all, Sally

ME OVER A YEAR IN 1997 TO FEEL ANYTHING. THIS TIME IT’S BEEN SINCE MAY THAT I

HAVE BEEN ON ANTIBIOTICS AND MAYBE…. JUST MAYBE…. I AM STARTING TO FEEL

ITS’S WORKING. Can't say I'm feeling any better...or worse. One of my main

problems is needing hip replacement and wanting to wait until spring. JUST MY

OPINION BUT I REMEMBER PEOPLE SAYING YOU WILL DO BETTER ONCE AP HAS KICKED

IN…PAIN WISE. But I've noticed it's getting harder to even get around with my

walker. Also concerned with my knees. My left one is constantly flared. I'm on

1mg pred. and hoping to stop it 12/24. NO… STAY ON IT. DO YOU TAKE ONY OTC

PAIN MEDS? YOU NEED SOMETHING TO TAKE DOWN THE SWELLING SO AP CAN WORK.Do any of

you have your toes buckled? YES Will they ever unbuckle??DEPENDS ON WHAT THEY

BUCKLED FROM. MY ONE TOE HAS A BROKEN TENDON AND WILL NEVER BE GOOD AGAIN. ONE

OF MY TOES I HAD A LITTLE ACCIDENT WITH A PIECE OF WOOD BEFORE AP KICKED IN AND

IT LOOKS BROKEN ALWAYS. ANOTHER LOOKS BAD BUT NEVER GIVES ME PROBLEMS. I WILL

SAY ALL MY FINGERS THAT HAD PROBLEMS ARE NORMAL. I ALSO COULD WALK AND USE MY

TOES WITHOUT A PROBLEM AFTER AP STARTED.Only with this group can I ask these

kinds of questions!LOL My fingers are still straight, but if I'm doing something

that bends a finger, sometimes the finger won't straiten up and I have to pull

it back up. GET B6 100MGMS … AT GNC OR VITAMIN SHOP OR ANY KIND OF HEALTH

PLACE…..AND TAKE IT 2 TIMES A DAY…GUARANTEED TO WORK. This is quite a race

we're on, hopefully the AP stays one step ahead of the disease.

So many thanks Cookie.....people on this site always come through and give me

hope again. I do take 3 ibuprofen a day (200mg) I'd like to take more, but

don't want to.....the 3 a day keeps me from going over the edge. My toes have

buckled from the RA. They feel and look weird. Nurse comes and checks vitals

(mine are better than hers.....she's 28, I'm 60) my breathing capacity is at

99%. Got a phone no. for lady in town here who takes her husband who has MS,

to Mexico for stem cell shots and he's improving. Will get more info and pass

it on here.

This Christmas, I pray pray pray pray.....than an end come to all these

devastating diseases. Time to learn our lessons here on earth in a loving kind

way! Sally

Here is the site of the clinic in Mexico that does stem cell shots, along with

other things

http://www.drdestinthayne.com/drcalzadasclinic.html

I just spoke with a women here in Fairfield who has been taking her husband (MS

for 20 years and in wheelchair) to Mexico for a year now. She had nothing but

good things to say about the clinic/staff etc. Her husbands results are slow,

but there is improvement

They also send you home with stem cells. She did say that she has had back pain

for many years now and limited to what she can do. While with her husband, she

had 2 stem cell shots and pain immediately gone.

Does anyone in group know if AP has worked with people with MS? Thanks, Sally

Sally,

This sounds really exciting. A good read. Yes, please keep us posted. Where can

we get this substance?

For others, here are two short excerpts from the study:

Long term elimination of pain from arthritis by gallium III was first observed

in horses primarily being treated for navicular disease. Several people treating

their horses with gallium nitrate coincidentally found that arthritis pain in

their fingers ended and did not return upon keeping their hands wet with 14%

gallium nitrate solutions for extended periods of time with relief lasting, in

one case, over five years.

Over 100 types of bacteria, including tuberculosis, have been identified in

arthritis. Olakanmi et al.[11] showed in 2000 that gallium disrupts iron III

metabolism of several mycobacterias, including Mycobacterium tuberculosis,

within human macrophages. A strong concentration-dependent growth inhibition was

observed in the presence of gallium nitrate, suggesting that gallium nitrate may

have extensive, strong antibiotic properties because of its ability to

substitute for iron III in bacteria, killing those bacteria.

Yes, it does sound exciting, doesn't it! One of the women who came yesterday is

a nurse, and uses alternative healing. What she has read, she said sounds on

the similar path of my doing AP. I do feel some relief in my flamed knee, and

am now resoaking today for another 1 and 1/2 hr. Not any different with hands,

but did not wrap hands.....I was just dipping them in solution. I think I need

to get a full body bag (from funeral home??) dip it in solution and craw in it

for a few days! I'll email my friend today with update, and find out how they

get it for their horse. It comes in 42% strength. I'm using 14% on my joints,

and if you take orally, you take 1%. I'm feeling I want to start taking this

orally. I've always thought that if it works on animals....then I want it!

Hello Ana,

For 2 days I soaked with a cloth my knee with g.nitrate (90 min. each time) I

also was massaging it into my hands while soaking my knee. I didn't do it any

longer because that's all the solution they gave me. I did, and still do, feel

a difference in my knee....small, but I can tell it helped. What I have also

noticed (and don't like) is that at night my hands burn and itch. I could be

brought on by the fact I now have an infar red mat I sleep on and the heat

activates my hands burning. Or maybe it's not from the nitrate?? I was using

14% solution. If I were to drink it, I would drink 1% solution. I emailed the

people who brought this to me before xmas asking what my next step would be. I

have not heard back from them.....and I know I can call them also.

Right now, I'm feeling (about everything associated with this RA), that if it's

in the flow, great........and it not, then I don't pursue it. That's right now

anyway. Reading about the g.nitrate did look promising and in line with

AP....plus the excellent results she saw from her horse. Sally
