Guest guest
>i do often feel hungry when waking up during the night or when having trouble falling asleep. no fast pulse at that time. my brain feels wide awake and i often have some muscle tension (which can increase from the stress of not being able to sleep). >as a side note, i am taking magnesium, and i've tried a lot of the usual sleep supplements-melatonin, kava, 5htp, theanine. Try a high fat low carb snack at bedtime, a lump of cheese for instance. Most people on Isocort do better tapering the dose through the day, hopefully Val can come in here with comments and suggestions as she is MUCH more adrenal orientated than I am. You might want to join the adrenals list and ask about isocort dosing there http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ Generally people take a tapering dose through the day.
