Guest guest
To me it looked like my FT3 was going down lately. I worry because I feel so different from day to day, and mostly I feel bad. Yesterday I had two friends visiting from Finland, and I felt so bad I couldn't even take them to a restaurant nearby. But your words are comforting and reassuring. Thanks .My temp is 97.8 F (36.6 C) now 1 hour after getting up from bed. How long does it take, normally, for the temp to become normal? Guest guest
>If I have a serious (and unstable) stomach absorption problem, will I absorb T3 differently from day to day? Potentially, not seen any signs of that on you though. >If this is the case, it can be dangerous taking T3. No, you can vary a daily dose up or down 30% at least and not notice it greatly >What if one gets a disease in the stomach - You have 2 days " backup " of the T3 before it runs out. It's absorbed pretty quickly, even if you are being sick from time to time you will still get it OK >I know sublingual action is a good backup, but if my pills aren't made for sublingual action, then what? They don't have to be made for it to work. Just accept the evidence of your own body, it works. Dr Lowe has been on T3 only for 20+ years I think. It is safe as a long term regime. Guest guest
Feeling very weird at the moment. It can be so many things, of course. But considering my FT3 two days ago, I would say I might be hypo now. My mind feels spaced out, my face is swelling again, and I cannot think very sharply. Should I up even more today? Did 5 extra mcgs last night bedtime. >If I have a serious (and unstable) stomach absorption problem, will I absorb T3 differently from day to day? Guest guest
I don't know what else can explain my extreme hypo symptoms at the moment. Pulse is not slow, but I feel extremely, unbelieveably tired and sleepy. And my head feels like I was punched. Not super painful, but just "out there". I don't know what to do - Take more T3 right now or what? This feels very very wrong!
Guest guest
Just wondering:Why did I feel ok when I woke up today at 11:15 am, slept from 02:00 am so I got a lot of sleep, and then after I take my 10 mg morning HC dose and 5 mcg T3 morning dose and eat a healthy breakfast, I start to feel MUCH worse, MUCH more sleepy about 1 hour later? Can this POSSIBLY be too much HC? And how can it be too low T3 if I just took my T3 and felt better BEFORE I took my T3? I am trying to find a reason for why my body is behaving like it does!I just don't get it! Val, Nick?!
Guest guest
Feelign sleepy after eatign is a sign of glucose dysregulation. Guest guest
2 turkey meatballs, 1 leaf of green salad, 2 very small tomatoes, 5-6 slices of cucumber, 2 slices of pickles, 2 eggs. That was it.Do you think something I ate is the culprit? It's not just being sleepy, it's an Overwhelming feeling in my head and my head feels so weird. Can it possibly be HC? HC can alter the blood sugar.Going to the ER now to take blood samples of electrolytes, blood sugar, hepatitis a. That's all I can think of. Guest guest
Wow, , your first dose of T3 is only 5 mcg after you've been on the RT3 protocol for so long? That's an awfully small dose. What's your overall dosing throughout the day?Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryDate: Sat, 27 Feb 2010 04:48:55 -0800 (PST)To: <RT3_T3 >Subject: Re: T3 and absorption Just wondering:Why did I feel ok when I woke up today at 11:15 am, slept from 02:00 am so I got a lot of sleep, and then after I take my 10 mg morning HC dose and 5 mcg T3 morning dose and eat a healthy breakfast, I start to feel MUCH worse, MUCH more sleepy about 1 hour later? Guest guest
I do 5 mcg doses because my heart is a bit whack. I fear 10 mcg does of T3 might be too much for my heart, either due to too low Ferritin, to low cortisol (doubt it as I am on 35 mg HC daily) or simply the fact that I was born with faulty wiring of the electrical system on my heart. :pI have been on T3-only for.. Well this is week 12 actually! But I've been going very slow, due to HEART SYMPTOMS and FEAR along with that. I wouldn't have had any fear if my heart would've acted normally though! :)Subject: Re: T3 and absorptionTo: RT3_T3 Date: Sunday, February 28, 2010, 8:06 AM  Wow, , your first dose of T3 is only 5 mcg after you've been on the RT3 protocol for so long? Guest guest
I was wondering: Can the nodule I have on my thyroid gland hold back and release T3 as it wants to? In that case it explains what happened to me 2 years ago. Now, if I take more and more T3, and the nodule holds hormones back, I will get hypo regardless of the dose. If the nodule decides to release everything, I will die from a sky high FT3 all of a sudden. An overdose of T3.Am I onto something here? What should I do about the nodule? My father keeps repeating that I should have an operation and remove it. But then they will also probably remove some of my thyroid, right? Or can they just remove the nodule? I am worried about this!

Keeping TSH suppressed will greatly reduce the chances of this If the Drs said leave it alone then that's the best thing to do with it. Guest guest
> I don't know what to do - Take more T3 right now or what? This feels very very wrong! It could be you've increased T3 so your adrenals have stoopped pumping adrenaline?? You often report that you are tireder and calmer after a T3 raise. Sometimes though you raise enough to clear the adrenaline but not enough to really benefit from the T3. Nick
