Just checked <http://www.ansi.okstate.edu/breeds/goats/Think>http://www.ansi.okstate.edu /breeds/goats/Think I chose the Toggenburg because its the oldest breed, a Swiss breed, does well in cool climates and because there are so many ish Highland cattle in town that a Swiss breed fit into the hills. Comparison is Toggenburg 3.7 butterfat to Nubian 4-5%. Toggenburg outnumbered Nubians 2 to 1 in ads so it seems they are the most common here. Suze you can check the above linkfor all breeds.
