Guest guest
It sounds to me like the cortisol in the Isocort is not enough for you and that HC woudl be your best optin. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
>I had posted on the adrenal board and was told whenever one has an anaphylaxis reaction, it depletes the cortisol levels. Well, now I am having horrible anxiety again. I haven't increased my T3 and have been on 80mcg since Friday/Saturday. > >Should I reduce my T3? Either hold or reduce a little, certianly don't increase until your adrenals are in better shape >I am supplementing my Isocort with HC cream for the first time- not sure if I am even feeling relief with this... Not sure what else to do? (Someone suggested I go on Cortef at this point?). It may need more than that, can you get Cortef from your GP? The adrenals board will advise on dose. Guest guest
>Not sure what else to do? (Someone suggested I go on Cortef at this point?). Are you graphing temperatures?? Nick
Guest guest
I have been graphing temps... I am still constant: either 98.4/98.5. Temp goes up to 99.2 1/2 hr after T3 but right back to the 98.5'ish range... I will not increase the T3 because my heart is pounding... Is it an 'easy' transition to HC (Cortef) from Isocort? > > It sounds to me like the cortisol in the Isocort is not enough for you > and that HC woudl be your best optin. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
