Guest guest
>Just to remind you my Reverse T3 at end of January was virtually zero and ferritin 45. I haven't been able to take any iron this past week cos I have been so constipated. That ferritin is low enough to cause you trouble tolerating T3 and that in turn stresses your adrenals. The yellow skin thing is a big adrenal marker. You need to find a way of getting the iron in you and may need to support adrenals as well. Until both these are in place you won't be able to tolerate enough thyroid of any sort, the lack of tolerance isn't because it's T3, it's because the supporting chemistry isn't there. Guest guest
Yellow skin can also be liver disease, you need to have liver funciton tested to knwo for sure which it is, though beoing extremely hyo does lower liver function. My liver enzymes were very elevated when I was very hypo and are fine now. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

When my hypo symptoms improved a bit I noticed the orange/yellow almost disappeared. I am going to add back the iron shortly as the constipation seems to be easing a bit and I am tolerating 1 grain ok with 44 mcg T3 the past 2 days. Definitely feeling better but of course when I go for even a short walk my body doesn't like it and I get lots of nasty symptoms back, ie dizziness, legs don't work properly and also feel cold after, I guess like Nick said this really stresses my adrenals.
