Guest guest
As Valery recomended I lowered T3 from 125 to 87.5 and I really don't know what to do with cortisol. I was taking 32.5 before I started to feel a crash, then went up to 37.5 and I don't even know what I have taken the last few days (some days 32.5 and some other 37.5). I feel more or less the same, maybe more tired and I feel nervous inside (like if I had ants running through my veins) and my hands shake a bit (I always had very steady pulse until lately). I feel nauseous sometimes and my stomach aches as if I had gastritis (this has happen to me before, mostly in my youth). Taday after taking the second dose of cortisol, my stomach started to hurt more and I wonder if cortisol is hurting my stomach (it didn't happen before, although lately I changed from a compounded form in a capsule to a comercial brand of hydrocortisone which comes in pill form, however I had tried it before and I was O.K.). I am in my 10th week of T3 only and I am terrified this will not work for me either. I know part of what is happening is because of some stress that is now in my life (which I hope will go away soon), but I don't know what to do or whether I am spoiling the whole process of getting reed of rT3 thanks,
Guest guest
With pill form HC you need to eat somethign that coats your stomach with EVERY dose. I used to use cream, just a swallow wiht every dose and it protected my stomach from it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
Thanks Val, that's a very good sugestion. Do you think I should go for the higher dose of cortisol (37.5) for a while, util the stress remits? Also, will this stress ruin the progress of the T3 protocol? thanks, > > With pill form HC you need to eat somethign that coats your stomach with > EVERY dose. Guest guest
If you have breakthrough lwo cortiosl symotoms going to a higher dose for a week or so would be good and no it will not interfere with the T3 protocol unless cortiso gets so low that T3 stops gettign to the cells. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
Thanks so much for being there! I don't know what breakthrough low cortisol symptoms are... I am a bit nauseous, my OCD is worse, I keep loosing weight (little by littel but continuously), I am irritable and nervous... not a big change from my usual self, just a worsening. > > If you have breakthrough lwo cortiosl symotoms going to a higher dose > for a week or so would be good and no it will not interfere with the T3 > protocol unless cortiso gets so low that T3 stops gettign to the cells. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
Guest guest
I would call those low cortisol symotms which would indicate a need for an increase in HC. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
O.K. many thanks! I will take 37.5 HC for a week and see... I worry about the state of my addrenals, should I expect some improvement as rT3 clears? Do people need generally less cortisol when rT3 clears? > > I would call those low cortisol symotms which would indicate a need for > an increase in HC. >
