Yes it could be and there are saliva tests for cortisl that have a

cotton wad you put in your mouth and chew on to collect saliva that

might be doable for her. But some bloodwork I would recommend would nbe

an 8AM cortisol serum and electrolytes. At her age estradiol shoudl be

VERY low so that could also help diagnose low cortiosl if it wouldbe

elevated, however gettign a doctor , esp an Endo to know and do this

muight be difficult,. She definitely is hypothyriod by quite a bit an

dthat hould be treated ASAP. I woudl also run serum Ferritin.
