Guest guest
I agree. I've said many times before that Simon comes off rude. Sometimes the information is very valuable but its mean. We don't have to be mean. And we should keep in mind that some people who utilize this group are sick and kindness would be more helpful. Its not in just what you say it really is how you say it. Guest guest
I also agree. Simon, generally when I see an email on this list coming from you, I delete it without reading it. You very often have good information to share, and I also enjoy a good debate, but your tone is sometimes more than I want to experience. Can you find a way to be more polite on this list? No, it couldn't be, seeing as you and the others complaining about my simple, straight-forward, matter-of-fact posting style are so enlightened and loving... sorry, what was I thinking. > You very often have good information to share, and I also enjoy a > good debate, but your tone is sometimes more than I want to > experience. Isn't the purpose of this group to help and share knowledge? I do agree though, people should be polite! I have banned people in my group for such behavior and posts. I did not realize their was any debate here?? I think people sometimes forget these groups are not created with the purpose of arguing, but rather to share interests, knowledge and sometimes support??? I sure do not allow rude people to post in my group!! I appologize if this offends anyone, but I felt the need to reply as it sounds like flaming.I am so glad my moderators take good care of my groups!! I figure if I don't like a group, then I will unsub.anyone here feel free to email or IM me if ya want. WISHING EVERYONE GOOD HEALTH!!!! Guest guest
Simon There are two ways to tell the truth - Politely and impolitely. If it offends this many people then it is impolite. You can choose to be in denial about this if you want. It is your choice. I do appreciate most of the information you provide for this group however. How one delivers the message can be more important than the message itself. Guest guest
> There are two ways to tell the truth - Politely and impolitely. Why in the world are you people dragging this out? > If it offends this many people then it is impolite. Most people think the war in Iraq is a just war... but that doesn't make them RIGHT. I loathe political correctness, and sometimes I over-react when I detect the stench of that rotting carcass directed at me. > You can choose to be in denial about this if you want. It is your > choice. I can just hear similar comments coming from the Spanish Inquisitioners when they were torturing Galileo until he recanted and 'admitted' that they were right and he was wrong, that the earth was flat after all, and please forgive me for my audacity. He was, after all, in denial, because the 'majority' 'knew' the earth was flat. And no, I'm not comparing myself to Galielo, I'm just pointing out to you how absurd your comment was that just because a few people on this list are offended by candor that that somehow redefines candor as 'impoliteness'. > How one delivers the message can be more important than the message > itself. To YOU, that may be true, but it certainly is not true for me, so I'll thank you to stop trying to force me to accept your rules of conduct. Again - if you don't like candor, then don't read my posts. I ... DON'T ... CARE ... Now, do you want to drag this on any further? I think-type really fast, and this message only cost me about 15 seconds of my time...
Guest guest
I am not sick, my husband has polymyositis though, and from what we have been told by 14 of his well respected doctors he has no chance of getting healthy by not sitting in front of the PC or dinner table. We don't actively participate in this e-mail forum, but we do benefit quite often from the information that is shared from the rest of the group. Although your wife has not yet experienced any information that has helped her yet, there is always new information surfacing. If you don't want to read any of the e-mails, the delete button is quite helpful. I hope that your wife finds the correct treatment and regains her health. --------- rheumatic UNSUBSCRIBE UNSUBSCRIBE ME FROM GROUP

Guest guest
Also, Larry, please unsubscribe me from the San Diego Union Tribune. That paper is just too conservative for me. Guest guest
-You have to do that yourself in your group member. At the top of the page for this group, where it shows your user name, it will say " edit membership " . Click that and unsubscribe yourself. Sorry to see you go.
