Guest guest
I just received my new labs. After a month on SR T3 at 10 mcg twice a day, plus iron for low ferritin, plus HC, here are my new results, with the reference range in parentheses: T3, free serum 2.7 (2.0-3.5) pg/mL RT3 173 (90-350) pg/mL T4, free 0.97 (.89-1.76) ng/dL ferritin, serum 25.7 (11.1-264.0) ng/mL If I'm calculating this correctly, my ratio is 15.6 (2700 FT3 divided by 173 RT3). A month ago, my ratio was 4.8. Going strictly by the numbers, this looks like dramatic improvement. Why do I feel not the least bit better? What should I ask my doctor for in my appointment tomorrow? Peggy Lab results from a month ago, before starting SR T3: T3, free, serum 2.1 (2.0-4.4) pg/mL RT3 434 ( 90-350) pg/mL T4, free (direct) 1.32 (0.82-1.77) ng/dL ferritin, serum 15 (10-291) ng/mL
