Guest guest
What is going on with you is happening to me. You're lucky your temps got to 98 because mine stay at 97.5 and never went up. What bugs me is that I've had all the tests and everything has be fixed that needed fixing, so I should be able to take the 75 mcg of T3 but I can't. I backed down to 62.5 and I am feeling better with my heart rate lower but I'm still very much hypo and probably will always be if I can't take more T3. So, then what do I do? I'm working on my E/T/P as well. This has been going on for years and I can't get it right. I gained 8 pounds in the last month eating the same as I always eat and I feel like crap most days with aches and pains.Louise Did you have your adrenals checked with saliva testing? Those sounds like they could be low cortisol levels, too. Terri From: lishut9823 Sent: Tuesday, March 02, 2010 1:39 PM To: RT3_T3 Subject: I am messed up!! I am reducing my T3 to 50 mcg. I believe I am hyper. I am waiting for next week to test. My symptoms are irritability, depression, shakiness, frequent BMs, pulse near 100, muscle weakness and fatigue. I kept upping T3 up to 125 mcg, but the symptoms got much worse.Yesterday after taking 3 doses of 25 mcg each I stopped. I could tell a difference in my mood by evening. I could actually laugh again. My temps never got much above 98.0, so I figured I needed more. But now I really don't think so.I guess I am not going to feel a whole lot better on thyroid meds. I think it's time to start looking at something else!!--
Guest guest
Louise, I'm assumining that E/T/P means Estrogen/Testosterone/Progesterone? Has your doctor tested your level of Pregnenolone? It's a precursor hormone that our body uses to make all sorts of other hormones. You can read a bit more at http://intelegen.com/nutrients/pregnenolone_and_mental_function.htm, but you also may want to Google it. No doc had ever tested this on me until my new gyno did a month ago. Apparently it's a pretty important thing to have balanced. Did you have your adrenals checked with saliva testing? Guest guest
No I'm not sure if I have had it tested but I know one doc tired to supplement me with it and I got really sick from it. I've not been able to find a good doc in my area. Louise, I'm assumining that E/T/P means Estrogen/Testosterone/Progesterone? Has your doctor tested your level of Pregnenolone?
