Guest guest
>Anyway, I am so discouraged right now as I feel like my only option is to cut back down on my T3 again which I know will cause my body temp to drop even lower (always does) but that's better than heart issues. Being pregnant it such a huge worry for me since it's not just my health that's suffering right now. >I will ask my OB Dr. this week for the iron IV and hope he will come through for me. Sorry to hear your Dr wants to keep you hypo. I've got the feeling you really don't want to do anything that will drop temperatures if you are pregnant. Unless you are getting very nasty low ferritin effects and can't do it any other way keeping thyroid levels up is very important in pregnancy Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com

Guest guest
Milena, I am about an hour from San Fran and would love to have the info for the iron IV. Thank you! in CA > > > > >Anyway, I am so discouraged right now as I feel like my only option is to cut back down on my T3 again which I know will cause my body temp to drop even lower (always does) but that's better than heart issues. Guest guest
hi jennifer, i would appreciated you e-mailing me privately with the dr. info. i am also in the bay area and am still trying to find a good doc, and want to make sure i don't go to one that is not recommended. thanks susan > > (Val I hope it's OK to send this here as I also sent to the adrenals group. I know we're not supposed to post in both places but since I saw this Dr. recommended here, I thought I'd share my experience. Plus I am desperate today for answers! Can't find a Dr. locally -bay area- to help me) > > I had called my naturopathic MD yesterday to request an iron IV and I heard back this morning that he is dropping me as a patient. I will receive a letter stating the reason. At my last appt., he acted irritated that I was taking 35 mg of HC (stated that one should never take more than 20mg) so that is probably the reason since I told him I didn't feel I could cut back just yet. He also does not want to see me on any more T3 than 50 mcg and prefers the SRT3. He really wasn't much help to me so I was hoping to find a better Dr. anyway, but I gave him the STTM book last summer and he read it, liked it, and kept it so I was hopeful. And he was willing to do the RT3 test, etc. I saw him recommended on the RT3 yahoo group and I have to say, he's been a big disappointment to me( I won't post his name unless asked and if it's OK, Val?). And to top that off, his office staff is pretty rude. > > Anyway, I am so discouraged right now as I feel like my only option is to cut back down on my T3 again which I know will cause my body temp to drop even lower (always does) but that's better than heart issues.
