Guest guest
, I am so sorry. One miscarriage has nearly finished me off, I can't imagine what you've been through. I really feel like someone HAS to help you. No-one should have to go through 7 m/cs and not get an answer. Its inhumane. In November I'm going to see Prof Lesley Regan at St 's Hospital in London. She runs a recurrent miscarriage clinic (the largest in Europe), and she has great success, not only with immune issues. I heard of her because I read her book " Miscarriage: what every woman should know " published by Orion Books. I have to see her privately because my health authority won't pay (in fact they won't do anything - they want me to experiment with another pregnancy without any drugs!). But I have a very sympathetic GP who was willing to refer me. I know you're in Scotland, and I don't know what your financial circumstances are, but why don't you write to Prof Regan? I did, explaining my health history, and she send me back a lovely reply, accepting me as a patient even though I've only had one m/c. If you get accepted on the NHS, or privately, the wait is the same - about 6 months...but I'm pinning my hopes on her as she is a pioneer in the field. She is not only an expert, but conducts many clinical trials also. I feel so strongly that someone must be able to help you .
