Antje,

does the swimming place have a sauna, not the one with moisture but the dry

heat? I bought a small sauna and use it three times a week. On the beginning I

only could do about 10 minutes, now I can do about 45 minutes. If you use it,

drink lots of liquid before you go in and take some buffered C. Lots of water

after you get out.

Where are you from in Germany? I am from Stuttgart.

I also took Prednison but for three years and the first two years I took it in a

high amount, I finally was able to get off it after I started the antibiotics.

My hands, feet and wrists were so painful all the time. Now I don't even think

about my wrists, my feet are doing well and my hands are almost well. I also

have Dermatomyositis.I also take low dose Naltrexone and it helps a lot with the

pain and I can sleep very well.

Hi, i live in Puerto Rico and have a huge yard which ends down at the beach.

There is no foot access to the beach because there is overgrowth and we are

about 300 ft. up on a cliff that overlooks the ocean.  The most gorgeous 180

Degree view.  The breezes keep us cool in summer and warm in the winter.

While I was taking care of Mom and not able to leave the house, we decided to

buy one of those circle pools you purchase at K-Mart and put it in the yard.  I

do get out to do exercises each evening when the sun is low in the west.  There

is a tree in a strategic place that shades the pool and I can sit and/or

exercise there daily.  Now that Mom is gone, I can drive around the trail and

go to the beach, but it is so convenient to just jump into the pool with

whatever I am wearing at the time.  No need for a bathing suit.  Jumping  in

with a t & shorts is suffiecient especially if I am hot from working around the

house or yard.  A nice warm

shower and clean P.J.'s gets me through the rest of the evening.  Yes, I am

pain free.  I could say that a number of things I do relieves pain, like

swimming, Minocin, exercises, diet fresh air, etc.  It is an entire program and

not just the water.  but that helps a lot.  I don't have a sauna.  The sun

takes care of the baking here in P.R  I imagine a sauna would be great to shed

the  toxic buildup.  hmmm!  I might just build one.  Take care, Dolores .

Hello all,

I got my infrared quartz chrysal mat that I sleep on a week ago. The healing

heat is amazing to my aching body and joints. I also have an infra red sauna,

but due to my mobility right now, haven't been in for over a year. the mat is a

perfect answer.....and I can get the same healing heat for the 10-12 hr. that I

sleep at night. my sleep is getting better. Coming up iowa winter....I just

might stay in bed all winter! sally
