Guest guest
Skin breakouts, fatigue in the late morning, mid afternoon (though I am not sure if this was DHEA related or not), estrogen dominance symptoms http://www.drlam.com/A3R_brief_in_doc_format/Estrogen_Dominance.cfm (you can google for a list of more of those...too many to list). Oh, and I started to get spotting between periods and my cycle messed up which I do think was the DHEA because going off it brought it back to normal for those weeks. Last time I had messed up periods was in 2000 and taking 7-Keto and pregnelone also messed up my cycle. All of them caused estrogen dominance in me and made me very depressed after an initial good feeling. At first my mood really picked up, but then I started to feel angry and irritable. I went to a pretty high dose...got up to 25 mg then tapered down to 5 mg. Now I have been doing cycling where I take 5 mg for a few days and then off again. The tricky thing with DHEA is you have no idea how it will get converted in your body, and for me...since I already have estrogen dominance issues...it was not good. I want to try it transdermally in 5 mg doses and continue cycling on and off. The real benefit seemed to be my moods but I am not sure if there were any others. Oh, sex drive was better. I am thinking maybe part of the DHEA got converted to testosterone but I might be better off just supplementing a lost dose of testosterone if needed. Cheri Re: In Need Of Opinion > > > I agree. Guest guest
My side effects were becoming very irritable, angry and wired. Many things affect my mood though as I am very sensitive to drugs and certain hormones. Generally, we are told to watch for excess hair growth and acne. Re: In Need Of Opinion > > > I agree.
