This is what I am saying, you may need to alter the timing of the HC to even things out better Nick
Guest guest
Thanks, Nick. Scratching my head, how to alter teh timing of the hc... My original salivary cortisol test was patterned thus: low in morn, fine at lunch, fine at 6 p.m., and low at 10 p.m. Now I've been taking 10 hc upon awakening and another 10 an hour later, this way I was able to begin to tolerate t3 in the morn, without having temps dip. Now I am weaning off high-dose hc and am taking 10 hc upon awakening, and cannot tolerate the 15 mcg t3 (temp dips) When you say 'alter' hc dose you mean taking more in the morn? thank you! > > >Mine were high in the eve. Guest guest
>When you say 'alter' hc dose you mean taking more in the morn? You will probably benefit from a dose that tapers down through the day. You might benefit from joining the adrenals list and picking their brains there http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ It's run by Val but she's got several assistants there. I have a fair idea when HC is not right but am not experienced at advising on the right dose and timing.
