Guest guest
I dont mean to offend anyone, but why go to Dr Whitman when all he seems to rx is mino. One can get that locally. And why cant he tell your local doctor what tests he may recommend? & nbsp; I wrote him and he kindly wrote back saying there is no cure and he cant help. It sucked, but it would have been even worse to travel to get that info. & nbsp; That is my personal experience, i know its not everyones and I havent seen him i admit. But if its true all he rx's is Mino and thats what i learned, then it seems like a lot of trouble. I myself for 2 years have been looking for AP Specialist who knows what combo of antivbiotics to rx and how and when to take along with any supps they recommend. Mino is pretty cut and dry it seems. & gt; Can you please e-mail me the name and location of & gt; your doctor as well. & gt; Thanks Gail & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; ************ **Get trade secrets for amazing burgers. & gt; Watch " Cooking with & gt; Tyler Florence " on AOL Food. & gt; (http://food. aol.com/tyler- florence? video=4 & amp;? Guest guest
Hum, perhaps I am confused. I, too, see Dr. Whitman and he has rx'd many antibiotics, besides minocin. Doxy, Clindy, Zithro, etc...as well as other Dmards. Dr. Whitman also gives me a detailed list of tests, labs he wants done in my home town, so my insurance covers the testing. DR. Whitman is also very good about emailing and responding to questions and concerns...and Dr. Whitman was instrumental in my receiving photopheresis for my SD lung condition...when NONE of my local physicians had a clue..(other than long, massive doses of pred) Dr. Whitman prescribed this treatment, photopheresis and then proceeded to go to bat for me with my insurance company so I could receive a trial of photopheresis...The rest, as they say, is history. I have now been receiving photopheresis for the past 3 years, my lungs are stable and I am not on pred! I am now slowly weaning between treatments. Without DR. Whitman, I don't know where I would be today, many if not all of my local physicians shrugged and one suggested, " Why are you fighting so hard, this disease is terminal " ....Just a few of my thoughts.
