Got my labs back - problem after all - help

So I had a phone call the other day about my labs. The person originally said my rt3 was 160 and free t3 was 4.0 (ratio would have been 23.6) Of course I was doing the happy dance. Well somebody messed up, can't read numbers or something because today I got the lab results in the mail. If I am correct in my ratio I'm worse than I was the last time they did the tests in May. My PCP doesn't have a clue about rt3, all she sees is that rt3 is "in range" but doesn't know about the ratio or that it should be more than 20. I emailed her tonight and told her what my ratio was and that it should be more than 20, asked her if she was willing to help me with T3 therapy to clear it up. She's going to ask where I get this magic >20 number and I'd really like to have my ducks in a row. I think I remember Dr. Holtorf saying that healthy people's tests are more than 20 and the ones with symptoms that aren't fully resolved are usually under 20 ratio. Is that correct? Please speak up if you have a better answer, I know she's going to call and this will be my ONLY chance to try and get her to help me.Currently taking 3 1/2 gr. NT & 25 mg. I talked to her nurse this morning. She's a very busy doctor and is willing to refer me elsewhere as she says she simply doesn't understand the issue...end of story. She is willing to keep me dosed up high enough on NDT to relieve hypo symptoms however...I know;-)<<Posted by: " " artisticgroomer@... valharlyWed Mar 3, 2010 3:32 am (PST)Have her listen to Dr Holtorf on Talk Shoe it is the last recorded session here:http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/62603>> Kem in Eugene <º)))><
