Guest guest
Sorry to hear you met one of those too, but happy to report that they aren't just over there they are over here as well. I call them " doctor's with a God complex " ! When I first went searching to get a dx I was sent to a rheumy who came in said 'my name is blah' & the very next thing he said was 'how do y0u feel about going onto medication for the rest of your life that may make you blind?', he hadn't even looked at my history, Xrays or even knew my name, I just stood up & said 'you are the kind of doctor nobody needs & don't bother sending me a bill because I won't pay it! The 2nd rheumy knew what I had but honestly said he didn't know how to treat it. Then when I saw the 3rd rheumy she was really informative, she sat me down & thoroughly explained what I had & everything she knew about the disease etc etc but when she offered me plaq, mtx & the rest of the traditional meds I refused the scripts, then her whole attitude changed, she just looked at me & said 'you will be crawling back through my door in 6 mths begging for the drugs, now good day!' You know there are times when I would love to get a referral to go back & see her & say, remember me? Maz > > Hi ya all, > > > > Wow what a day. I felt like a newbie. Guest guest
Oh yes I know they are everywhere. I've had more than this one but I just had to tell about it because you all have had them and can empathize...and smile. If you went back to see her she would not admit it was the antibiotics. She would say your case was not bad and wore itself out. They always have an excuse. Thanks Maz. cooky Sorry to hear you met one of those too, but happy to report that they aren't just over there they are over here as well. I call them " doctor's with a God complex " !
