Should I cut down 5 mcg on the T3 tonight and in the coming days or.... Chill out, relax, breath. If you feel the panic coming on then stress dose some more HC Remember that with you an increasing pulse often means you are getting more hypo and your pulse will drop when you increase the T3 again. Increases at the 5mcg level tend to need to be every 3 days, when did you last increase? Nick
Guest guest
My pulse is always faster when I have an infection. Good luck in Belgium. I hope you get answers/advice that you have been looking for so you can continue with your road to recovery. From: Gibcast Sent: Sunday, March 07, 2010 4:22 PM To: RT3_T3 Subject: Fast resting pulse? My resting pulse has been increasing in the past days. Dunno if it's from infection, or the fact that I now take more T3 than 1 week ago. My resting pulse has been between 75 and 85 mostly, in the past few months. In the past few days it has been like 80 to 100, mostly 88. So I see a pattern of increasing pulse! I do have an infection, but, it could also be the 65 mcg T3 I am on. Any final advice before my flight down to Belgium? I don't feel fit for flight. I feel fit for hospitalization! Guest guest
Well I always thought a faster pulse meant too much T3-medicine, and a slow pulse meant Hypo, ie 60s and below that when not in shape. I am just worried I am on too much T3 for my Ferritin, which has been an issue. I don't want my pulse to go all up there 100, 120 and more, and into fib-land while in that airplane tomorrow!5 days ago, on March 2nd, I upped from 60 to 65 mcg T3. But only 3 days before, on the 27th, I upped from 50 to 60 mcg T3. So I went a bit faster right there. My current blood sample from the 4th of March shows an FT3 of 7.0 (ranger: 2.5 - 7.0) so I am not too low with the FT3.I just hope it doesn't pool. I don't think it can go up when FT4 is going down due to a TSH of 0.09. The FT4 was 4.4 on the 4th of March.Thank you nick >Any final advice before my flight down to Belgium? Guest guest
Hi, I'm going through the same thing with my pulse. And I'm definitely still hypo. I never heard of an increased pulse could mean going more hypo. I was wondering about cutting down on my medication to but I feel so tired. I'm afraid it will get worse. Why does the pulse increase? Guest guest
The pulse can increase form Low sodium and from adrenline. Adrenaline can be produced when you stil are intolerant to even a too low dose of thyroid usuall yfrom low Ferritin or low cortisol. High pulse can also happen from HIGH cortisol -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
So its just impossible to know - Especially when tkaing HC. Maybe my pulse gets higher cause I take too much stress dose. Maybe the opposite. I doubt it's salt - I take the same all the time.Low Ferritin, yes, meaning too much T3 for the Ferritin one has?Any final advice before I hit the skies? :-) The pulse can increase form Low sodium and from adrenline. Guest guest
One bit of advice. You are about to see one of the best doctors in the world for adrenal issues. I really am not familiar wiht how Hertoghe treats thyroid , so do not clam up and ask quesitons all you can think of while there. Make th emost of your visit and write a list of questions to ask so you dontl forget what you really want to know. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
