when i took 11yo delilah dog in for her annual physical a couple of

days ago, the new vet commented on how beautiful her teeth were and

couldn't believe that i had never had them cleaned. i explained that

i BARFed her.

meanwhile, behind us on some annoying repeating video, beside all the

stacks of science diet crap kibble, it said that, by age 3, 6 out of

10 dogs have gum disease.

i turned around just in time to stop the vet tech from handing

delilah some cooked, grainy treat.

you're right: this is just anecdotal, but who needs pottenger's

experiments when you can see with your own eyes? delilah's patella no

longer luxates.
