Guest guest
Wow never heard about that test! THANKS for that tip! I'll look into it tomorrow! Wow... :)Subject: Re: Increasing T3 doseTo: RT3_T3 Date: Monday, March 1, 2010, 1:33 AM Â Hello , regarding too much vs. not enough HC - have you had your Cortisol Binding Globulin (CBG) tested? I have read that a high CBG "binds" some of the HC we take into an inactive form, meaning that my own high CBG means I need to take more HC than most folks. There may be more info on this at Val's Adrenal Group http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ NaturalThyroidHo rmonesADRENALS/ I am trying to judge proper HC dosing by temperature. I understand that if my temp drops after I take my T3, I need more HC. But my temp drops all the time...it is not always clear why (96.6 at the moment). My own HC management is a work in progress, that's for sure. You have a lot to deal with there. I wish you improving health. > > > > > > > >It should be noted that I felt my best actually while on approx 125 mcg T4 daily. That would equal to... About 60 mcg T3 which I am on now! But it's something else being on T4, so we can't compare that to taking 60 mcg T3 now. > > > > That's well under a "full replacement dose" and hence your own thyroid > > will have been making a contribution to that as well. > > > > Nick >
