Guest guest
Here is my lates labs: TSH=.016 FT3=4.0 RT3=157 (range is 90-350) Can someone calculate my RT3? I think it's 25 which I assume is good, but not sure if I am doing it right-thanks.

Yes, looks like it's clearing from the serum, the tissue level resistances takes longer to clear thoug. How long have you been on T3?? The ratio is tolerable, it must be doing something. I suspeect if you go T3 only and onto a full replacment dose for a few months you will feel a lot better, I have doubts that the receptors will have cleared at that ratio, gut feel is you have to take the RT3 right down below range and hold it there for a while to clear receptors. Do you feel hypo on that dose?? What are temperatures doing? He wants me to decrease dessicated and increase T3 if I start feeling bad. My temps seem a little unstable, but I am under a lot of stress right now and probably will be for about 1 month-my company has me working 12 hour days for a start-up. I am reluctant to decrease anything, but I do have cynomel if I need it and he is willing to up my SRT3. Any advice would be helpful. > -- > > for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to > > www.thyroid-rt3.com >

They are willing to suppress TSH for cancer patients, I wish they would have a breader view on life > >I am reluctant to decrease anything, but I do have cynomel if I need it and he is willing to up my SRT3. >Any advice would be helpful. The philosophy here is to go onto a total replacement dose of T3, in the order of 75 to 125 of good strength standard T3 (which takes time to build up to), and stay there for long enough for receptors to clear. This clears the biggest cause of resistance and gets rid of hypo symptoms. In terms of other options of dosing Natural we are not the best people here to advise on dose levels http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormones/ May be a better place Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
Guest guest
I get 25.47 too! I think anything above 20 is good. S To: RT3_T3 Sent: Sun, March 7, 2010 11:50:01 AMSubject: What is my RT3 level?
