Guest guest
Hello jeff I did read the whole article you posted. I am taking olive leaf extract with antibiotic. The article doesn't explain why olove leaf interfer with action of antibiotic. How a natural antibacterial inacivate other antibiotic? I am taking olive leaf to fight with yeast infection which I developed from taking antibiotic. it really hepled me with yeast. Is there any reference that explain why olove leaf inactivate other antibiotics? thank you soheila
Guest guest
I looked, but the original memo did not explain why. Just guessing....maybe it is just a theoretical caution. I remember from my acne days that tetracyclines do not kill pathogens, they interfere with enzymes and proteins paths they need to replicate, slowing the spread of infection and your immune system finishes the job. I thought I read that olive leaf acts similarly. Could be they'll compete with each other in these pathways...at least theoretically. But then your taking antibiotics based on theory also, not for pathogens that were cultured in a lab. rheumatic From: soadl80@...
