I have returned to low-carbing (well, some beans and a couple of fruits, but more or less), and that is certainly the way to go. I have read enough lowcarb books, that's for sure, but it's hard to get used to the idea that so many of the foods I love are pretty much OUT! But of course, after a week or so, you stop missing them anyway. I am going back to my high fat diet, though I will try for more protein instead of just fats. I have some fabulous Indian cinnamon I got, and I put it on everything, even meats and eggs (yum!). I do feel better already! I called one of the friendly sellers of raw products, and will be getting my dog some raw butter and milk. Since he can only eat so much, do you know whether it will have the same nutritional value if I freeze it and use a little at a time? Does cream freeze well?
