Guest guest
Hi! Dr. Buie did both a colonoscopy and endoscopy on my 11 yr old son. It was a day procedure but he was put under general anesthesia. Since he was born he has had diarrhea and constipation - his bowel movements were never normal looking - always yellow, green, gritty mush! (Sorry) He also had reflux as a baby and when he was 8 months old they found he had polyps growing in his esophagus. He also wakes up screaming in pain sometimes 4 - 5 times per night (finally better after gf/cf). We found out through Dr. Buie that even though we " cleaned out " his system before the procedures Nicky was still severely impacted. There was also tons of bacteria and yeast ( Great Smokies and Dr. Buie detected this).. Anyways he has the illeoid nodular hyperplasia that Dr. Wakefield is talking about and it is sort of a seek and try different methods we are working on now. Guest guest
Just out of curiosity.. did you check into the pepcid? My son see's Dr. Buie.. and he was also put on pepcid.. he takes 20mg a day everyday.. since being on it.. he has had tremendous results. Its not the pill that contains gluten.. its the liquid. Then again.. it would depend on the pharmacy that you use also.. my pharmacy uses a gluten free pepcid. > Another question. Some of you talked about a colonoscopy? Not sure that is > the correct term. Anyway, what are the symptoms in which this procedure is > warranted? I saw Dr. Buie a couple of months ago and he send me off with > Pepcid ac for Sam to take everyday for 2 weeks and see him in a month? I > didn't follow through because I read that pepcid ac had gluten in it.
