Guest guest
Hi Anamika, This is interesting. I don't think we ever got an e:mail from someone in India. What is your disease? What is your health system like? Can you get medicines over the counter or do you have to go to a health care professional? Can you get Minocin or Minocycline there? If so, we have had some great results with antibiotics here in the USA For some of us, we have had to resort to other drugs. But one thing for sure, the steroids is one drug that we should be careful with. It works at first for a short time, but in the end, the side effects will kill us. That is because they are immune suppressants that eventually wipe out our immune system and that makes us vulnerable to any bacteria that we may come in contact with. We get sicker because we have nothing to fight with. Minocin is an antibiotic and an antiinflammatory. How did you come to answer some one looking for a doctor in Atlanta, Ga. Hoping to hear more from you. Guest guest
Hi Dolores,Nice to hear from u.I have been a part of this group for long but never wrote much ,just grasping everyone's information so that I could start with AP. Unfortunately I havent got in touch with any AP doc. but have started with AP on my own.I consulted my Family Physician, who approved after much persuasion.I am on 100mg MWF, but got no reactions till now,its been more than 3 months, maybe i should increase the dose to 200mg or start 100 mg everyday. What do you think? We dont get MINOCIN brand in India.I am taking generic Minocycline Hydrochloride 100 mg.Just like U ,even I never found any Indian in this group,so getting to hear from Ashish Kar,I felt like communicating. But thanks for writing to me,I feel so warm sharing things with you. Yes ,we get over the counter drugs here, without much difficulty and from what I gather, medicines are quite cheap here.I am on Methotrexate for the last 3 years and desperately want to give it up,but have to wait till the AP starts working, otherwise I'll be on bed in a week. What about you?I have been reading your mails regularly and know quite a bit about u.Thanks again for writing.Bye. mike rosner <martysfolks2004@...> wrote: Hi Anamika, This is interesting. Guest guest
Hi, Waiting for Minocin to work while on methotrexate is counterproductive. Meth knocks out the way Minocin works in the body. Have you read the Scammell books about Micoplasma? If so, you will know that they feel this is the cause of S/D which is my disease + R/A and MCTD. Apparently, researchers have recently found out that Minocin weakens the micoplasma by blocking the elimination of by products from protein synthesis the micoplasma uses from our bodies to thrive on. That's why we end up so anemic and sick. These micoplasmas are living as parasites in our bodies. They multiply and eventuallly the overload renders our immune system incapable of killing them and discarding them during the process of phagocytosis. By blocking elimination, the micoplasmas cannot continue the protein synthesis. IMO, you should wean off the methotrexate slowly with the help of a health professional and go with the Minocin only. It would be better if you could get the brand name Minocin which is made by the Triax Pharmaceutical company. Here in the US. they are pelleted tiny yellow dots inside a double light green and dark green colored gel cap. When I was first diagnosed, I had been put on Plaquenil for about two weeks prior to seeing my Rheumatologist in Boston. When I got there, he said he would prefer if I didn't take anything with the Minocin. I stopped the Plaquenil that day. Eighteen months later, I went into remission. I was on Minocin 100mg twice a day, morning and night every day for 22 months and then I started the Marshall Protocol in October. I went off the Minocin for 6 weeks and was fine. I am now getting ready to start Phase 2 of the Marshall and am still doing very well. My suggestion and I am not a doctor, is to trust the Minocin only. It will work better if nothing else is inhibiting it's progress like Meth. Yes, you may get a bit worse or you may not before the Minocin kicks in. This is definitely a slow process, but well worth it in the end. To me it is like a roller coaster ride. A bit bumpy in the beginning with lots of ups and downs but the rewards we reap in the end are worth the ride. Good luck. Did not know that my words are reaching as far as India. I suppose you know that I am writing a book. This book is not from doctors, scientists or any other experts but from the mouths of us, the patients who live every day with these diseases. I want the world to know how we feel, how we cope, how we manage, etc. because not even the docs have a clue as to what we go through. We were once considered hypochondriacs and we are not. Science is proving that. And the Pharmaceuticals are jumping in for the profits with their feel good medicines that kill us and we have to fight them off too. The proceeds from the book will go to laboratories that are doing research on the micoplasmas as there are many of them that cause various of other diseases that affect the immune system. These diseases are in the Th1 category. Now that's another book. Happy, healthy, healing. My pleasure to meet you and I hope to hear from you again soon. ~~~~~~Dolores anamika agrawal <anamikabkk@...> wrote: Hi Dolores,Nice to hear from u.I have been a part of this group for long but never wrote much ,just grasping everyone's information so that I could start with AP. Guest guest
I have been on this forum long time ago , like 2004. I had posted a link to a protocol that has a 99% success rate in getting rid of RA. I had RA and successfully overcame it in a year. Hope you guys try the protocol out. here is the link: http://www.frot.co.nz/dietnet/reviews/mcferran01.htm - Chandu > Hello, > > I have been suffering from RA for the past 2years, and > my left knee is always swollen.
