Guest guest
I have seen multiple posts re C Dif diarrhea and wanted to post what I have learned in my 10 yr experience with the antibiotic protocol and with associated diarrhea. One should definitely consult your physician if you have a bout with diarrhea because it could be C. Dif...my research into C. Dif on many sites several years ago when I was on the abx protocol led me to the often mentioned probiotics. As many of you know gut health is crucial to our lives....Many of the probiotics are quite good and have live cultures, however, in researching, specifically C. Dif. diarrhea...in many of the studies, which happened to be AIDS related C. Dif. studies (apparently, C. Dif. is a reoccurring problem with HIV infection) anyway...the studies had good luck with specific good probiotic bacteria...namely one called S. Boulaardi (sp) I did not take the time to look up the studies in my files for specifics...but I do remember they were AIDS related, Hiv, etc...and Sacromyacees Boulaardi (sp) was specifically mentioned...You will know that when you see it on the label...Hope this helps. I have had great luck in continuing to take good probiotics and my gut issues are much better...Debbie
