Guest guest
So does anyone at all consider themselves cured? It really sounds like some of these symptoms last a lifetime. I'm feeling really down about it. My productivity is terrible. I had great things planned for my life, and have been having so many doubts about my stamina. I could potentially have normal labs within the year, but will I just have chronic fatigue/ fibromyalgia at that point? Tiredness and brain fog and sluggishness but no proof of the disease? I'm getting old (relatively) and still wanted to go to medical school, but I don't know how I will get through it sometimes. It seems like an impossibly hard life, but I just can't give it up. Guest guest
Caren, I started AP within 6 mo. of start of my RA symptoms.? I went into remission within 6 mo.? I now?take a " maintenence " dose of minocin, but stopping it?results in symptoms?coming back.? I am functional, not cured.? If you want to be cured it might require visiting one of the docs that treats with multiple meds or IV's.? I've thot about that myself, but closest doc that does IV's is eastern Iowa, several hundred miles, and further than I can easily travel several times.? I'm sure others have thots on this, too. M.?
