Guest guest
I wish you can share some of that ferritin with me! > > Hi Val and Nick, > > I just got the lab results from my doctor today. My Ft3 was 9.11 with range of 2.50 - 4.30!!!!! Rt3 was <25. My Ferritin was 203!!! with range of 13-150. Sodium - 139, with Potassium 4.6. She said this is not balanced and told me to do the celtic sea salt. My liver numbers are also high and higher than they ever have been: alk phos - 209 range of 50 -136. Alt - 79 range of 7-49. > > She is having me do another 24 hr saliva but doesn't want to change anything I am taking until I get those results. I am already taking dessicated adrenal 6 tablets between 7 & 8 am. Each pill is 400mg something. I am suppose to give blood to get the ferritin down. Also suppose to take Alph Lipoic Acid for my liver. I cannot take Milk thistle because it is in the ragweed family. > > Any thoughts??? > > Venizia >
Guest guest
WHOA I woudl get a full iron panel before giving blood. If it agrees wiht the high ferritin yes, donate. FT3 can go very high very fast when your body is not using it for ANY reason, and low cortisol would be one of those causes. But reducing it immediately shoudl be done even before those results come in. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Val,I did reduce by one 25mcg pill today which was my 11am dose and by 4:00, I was really needing a feeling VERY fatigued. It is now 4:30 and already I can tell a difference in how I feel. I did not take my dose of cytomel the day of the test so that is not the reason it was so high. Low cortisol means adrenal issues right? I will talk to my doctor about the iron panel. THanks so much!VeniziaSubject: Re: WHOA!
