Guest guest Posted March 15, 2002 Report Share Posted March 15, 2002 A friend sent me raw butter in the mail. When I used it it tasted and smelled kind of cheesy. I figured it must be cultured. She said it wasn't when they sent it but we thought maybe being in the mail for a couple of days, it might have cultured itself. I'm buying organic butter now but I guess we should be eating raw butter. If I go back to the raw butter, does it have to stay refridgerated all the time if you don't want the cheesy taste?
