Guest guest Posted December 4, 2002 Report Share Posted December 4, 2002 Hi All :-) Madison's been on Neurontin now since late mid October for peripheral neuropathy. Started at 100mgs at night for a week, then 200mgs for a week, and got to the target dose of 300mgs on week three. At the lower doses her sleeping was still very disturbed, so I wasn't sure it was going to work, but once we got to the target dose she seems to be sleeping better again. She still has leg pain but it does seem to be a little less frequently than before. Problem is, once we reached the target dose she wet the bed three nights in a row, something she really has never done before since training. I read that this was possible and usually got better the longer someone was on it, so was not surprised when it seemed to resolve after three nights. Oddly though, its returned this week and she's wet the bed 4 nights in a row now. Does it sound like its the neurontin and do I just need to be patient and try to reassure her that this won't continue forever?? Its very disconcerting to her and yet she's totally against the idea of wearing a pull up either. Side effects can be such a pain!!!
