Guest guest
As unique individuals we each may have issues that override what any diet says we should eat. Many things the blood type diet says I should eat I cannot because of allergies. And some things it says I must not eat, I eat because I'm NOT allergic to them. My allergies and personal reactions to foods take precedence over any one else's opinion of what a good diet for me is. sol mwm1glm wrote: > Coconut would be on the list to avoid, but not coconut oil. Guest guest
>>My allergies and personal reactions to foods take precedence over any one else's opinion of what a good diet for me is.<< Oh this is SO true! Being Diabetic really changed my eating habits. but over the past year of experimenting I have actually broadened the range of food s I can et over what i am SUPPOSED to eat. Bread for instance. I do nto have to avoid it completely, just found a good one FOR ME. Pasta I cannot eat macaronie or spaghetti but I can eat egg noodles relatively painless ly. This really was a dioscovery process for me as I foun NONE of the diets I found either online or in books and I have MANY of them, were even close to what works for me. So it pays to be your own final judge in this area. My recomendations: Eat as much organic as you can find and afford, eat as much variety as you can stand, eat what you crave, it is your body's way of telling you what it needs, and be your own judge. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Another list I'm on was just discussing this. I've always been a picky eater and people are always trying to get me to eat " healthier " . What they never seem to comprehend is that when I say I don't like something, I mean it is repulsive to me. If I try to eat it, I will eventually get physically sick. It never occurred to me until recently that my body might telling me what he needs and doesn't need by doing this. I don't know why I never thought of it because I can tell by thinking aobmut a food if it will bother me to eat it (even if it is somehting I can usually eat).
