Guest guest
Has anyone seen this? Last night I only took 1/4 grain instead of my usual 3/4 (I'm on 3 grains total, spread between 4 doses). This morning, my dose was only 1/2 grain, but I actually measured a temperature at 98.6 (!) - my usual is 97.9-98.1. Could the relative lack of immediate T3 overnight have caused either my own gland to pick up a bit, or for more T4 to go to T3 rather than RT3? I've read that the first conversion enzyme can go either to T3 or RT3 (there are 3 - the second goes RT3 only, the third to T3 only if I remember right). I'm not sure what controls the first enzyme - but this could possibly making a basis for 's RT3 Dominance hypothesis) However, this temp increase didn't last. Now I'm back between 97.5 and 97.9 (on 1/2 grain 4x/d - thinking that perhaps the dose was too high and blocking something) Jim
