Guest guest
hi tom i went to a supervised water fasting centre in ca. it's called true north if you want to google it. so that made it easier as many others were there doing the same. it was very hard though. i was so hungry and so weak. it took me 10 days to be able to walk even a block after the fast. i went down to 77 lbs so that was pretty scary. i thought it might help me to get well is why i did it. they've had some ppl who got well afer fasting and doing a high carb low fat vegan diet. that diet didn't work for me though. i think all the carbs made my arthritis worse actually. robert's diet works much better for me. high fat low carb. carbs seem to be my worst offenders. i had 2 food allergy tests done and they didn't help much. as robert says the elim diet is much more effective. most ppl i find with rheumatic dis do better avoiding grains any kind of sugar legumes. see: http://www.thepaleodiet.com/articles/Arthritis%20PDF.pdf monique
