I highly recommend Tropical Traditions' virgin coconut oil, available at http://coconut-info.com/ -- in quantities of around 13oz. it's more expensive than Omega's and Spectrum's, but you can get 1 gallon for $50 including shipping, and 5 gallons for $205 including shipping. It's a superb coconut oil, far superior to the brands you've been buying. (I used to use Omega's, and the difference is like night and day. TT's has a marvelous coconut aroma and flavor and a superior texture.) An alternate which some people prefer is Coconut Oil Supreme, at http://www.coconutoil-online.com/ -- its advantage is that it's supposed to be processed at a lower temperature than TT's, but there's apparently no assurance that it's organic, whereas Tropical Traditions is a known good product. -

If you order 7 or more pounds, you can get it for $7.45/lb. They ship it in plastic bags, and then you melt it in warm water and pour it into a jar (they sell them for $4 apiece, or you can use your own). http://www.coconutoil-online.com Berg
