Guest guest
I'm pretty new on the t3 site (been on TPA for 2 years). I just started T3 a few days ago (5 mcg) under Dr. P's advice. I stopped Naturethroid to start up on this. You asked about my blood test results a few days back. Here are my test results over the past 2 years since I've been seeing an endo in Huddersfield. He retired this past autumn and I've just seen the new one time. I'm due to see him in 2 weeks and will do new blood tests the Monday prior. He simply didn't know which way to go with me since my levels were not too low but somewhat conflicting. I've tried standard T4 (levothyroxine), Armour (old), pure compounded T4, and Naturethroid but each gave me muscle and joint pain after some time. The longest I could tolerate anything was Naturethroid. We have thought it was the fillers in each but now I wonder if I just have rt3 and/or a conversion issue. As I wrote, I've just started cytomel (5 mcg) this week. So far so good except I have a little trouble getting to sleep (only take it at 10 am and 3 pm). I also had some muscle pain last night and a few "weird" feelings. I wonder if that's just because my body is getting the T3 and its not used to it. I decided to back off to 5 mcg only one time today. I took it at 12:30 pm, an hour before lunch. Based on my sex hormone testing, I've started natural progesterone cream today upon Dr. P's recommendation. I wonder if that will help normalise my chemistry, too. My progesterone levels are quite low. I also started having some agitation, jittery feelings that started at around 6:00 pm and went until we ate dinner around 7:30 pm. They subsided after I ate. I wonder if that was some hypoglycemic feelings. Strange since my overall glucose levels are over "typical" and the endo thinks I'm diabetic. My glucose levels have been dropping over the past few months. I you would, please scan my blood tests (old ones, I know); new ones will be forthcoming in 2 weeks. I'm open to advice/comments. I did call Dr. P's office to get my adrenal saliva tests and they will send them. I'll let you know those, too. I've stopped taking the adreno-lyph and feel better without it. It was giving me extreme muscle pain, agitation, and general over-adrenaline feelings, even just one 80 mg. tablet in the mid-morning. Thanks so much!
