Guest guest
Friday I got my cytomel and started the switch from SR T3. First I began with this schedule. 8am - 5mcg 11am - 5mcg 2pm - 5mcg 5pm - 5mcg Every 3 hours I felt the T3 hit and was rather happy and feeling good, then I felt it leave me right before the next dose. It seemed to wear off in about 2 hours. I decided the next day to increase since I wasn't getting enough and to bring the timing closer. 8am - 5mcg 10 - 5mcg noon - 5mcg 2pm - 5mcg 4pm - 5mcg 6pm - 5mcg bedtime - 5mcg (was scared about trying this.) This seemed to have gone rather well because I had myself covered before that hypo feeling kicked in. The next day the same, but the hypo feelings kicked in within 1.5 hours. My body is definately wanting MORE. Today is my 3rd day at this scheduile and tomorrow I will increase the 8am to 10mcg. I also noticed my hair is shedding more. I also have been feeling so tired by 8pm. It seems the more I am increasing T3 the more I am going to become hypo and the more my body is screaming T3, T3, T3.....It has been starving for so long it is going mad with T3 lust. I have been taking care of adrenals first for so long the thyroid was ignored. NOw I am focused on thyroid and adrenals seem to be supported. Just so interesting how the body craves T3. Guest guest
>Just so interesting how the body craves T3. sounds like you've found what your body needs. You just need to get the dose right now, this will be a couple of months of weekly or more often adjustments as your T4 levels sink and T3 replaces it Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
