Guest guest
Hi, Your B12, ferritin and D are all very low. I am most familiar with B12, and can tell you that at 370, it is very low. It should be at least 550, and is best over 1,000. Jarrow brand B is best. Their multi-B is called B-Right, and it's a good idea to supplement folic acid along with B12, if not all the Bs. Your ferritin should be between 70 and 90. Not sure what D should be, your's is very low, though. Pam
Guest guest
hi pam, thank you for your response. yeah, those are all pathetically low... and from what i gather could be a reason i started overly-coverting into ReverseTs, along with having been in stage 6 adrenal fatique as of my 07labs. i started a supplement regime a week ago and wonder if the 1mg of B12 per day is enough...?? what do you think? that jarrow brand sounds great, as i realize the other bvits are needed for adrenal support. i will check that out:) thank you!! > > Hi, > > Your B12, ferritin and D are all very low. Guest guest
I take five thousand mcg sublingual b12 a day, it raised my low b12 wonderfully and quickly. It has to be five thousand, any less just doesn't do the job. And it has to be taken sublingually. Here are two related posts with b12 info: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/message/35618 http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/message/35504 Sublingual b12 comes in at least two forms, methylcobalamin and cyanocobalamin. I've taken both, and honestly don't see too much difference between them, although I've read that Methyl is generally recognized as better. I get the least expensive 5000 Methyl from WonderLabs.com http://www.wonderlabs.com/itemleft.php?itemnum=9841 Right now I have a few bottles of the Cyano in, so that's what I'm taking, I get it from my local health food store, it is also available from Amazon. Twinlabs b12 Dots Mega - it HAS to be the MEGA, the 5,000 mcg. http://www.amazon.com/TwinLab-Vitamin-Tablets-60-Count-Bottles/dp/B001G7R0IQ/ref\ =sr_1_2?ie=UTF8 & s=grocery & qid=1267970986 & sr=8-2-spell > > > > Hi, > > > > Your B12, ferritin and D are all very low. Guest guest
Hi, 1 mg, which is 1,000 mcg for a B12 test of 370 is not a bad dose for your blood level. You could take more - in divided doses. The best form is methylcobalamin sublingual. If you are having symptoms from low B12, it would be best to raise your dose. Pam
