Excellent thyroid resistance info can be found here

Getting rid of high RT3

http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/howisit1.htm

And don't miss the rest of Nick's website

www.thyroid-rt3.com

it is a must-read for anyone with RT3 issues.

Some of us here add T3 to dessicated; but I think most on this group use T3

only, no dessicated. Our Moderator Val tried for a long time to add T3 to

dessicated, and it just never worked, she's on T3 only.

I think most of us here use the generic. I do.

Depends on the cause of the resistance. most resistance issues seem to

respond best with T3 only

The basic definition of resistance is the body being hypo from

symptoms despite labs being top of range or even over. Lots of things

need looking at including Adrenals, Ferritin, Vitamin D Vitamin B12.

Lab ranges themselves are messed up, you need FT3 at the top of the

range to feel best

correct?

T3 only is the best solution

>Does one need brand name Cytomel or will a generic suffice?

Some people report absorption issues from the generics.

Have a read through here

and feel free to ask questions
