Guest guest
Hello Christie, Where in Texas are you? I am in Fort Worth and work at Methodist hospital(downtown). I know Texas is a big place... but still nice to know there is someone from this group also here. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Diane, I sent you a personal email the other day asking about Vanderbilt University Hospital. Is this the Vanderbilt hosp in Nashville? Can you please share whateve information, impressions, etc you have of the place? Who is your doctor there? Is he any good? What is the the house like? How about Nashville itself? The reason I am asking, I have interviewed with them via phone and told to expect an in person interview sometime after the first of the year. I am not sure if I am up to making a long distance move, but it would be a good career position for me. At the same time, I wonder if I should really be pursuing advancing my career. I didn't go looking for this job. Had told the headhunter I am not interested in finding another job at this time.. more interested in furthering my education (masters). But he thought I should consider it because of the university environment. No I am not a nurse. At I work in the finance department as a Sr Financial Analyst/Database Specialist. Big title for *playing* on the computer all day. The position at Vanderbilt will be training key personnel (doctors, managers, VPs, directors, etc) on the use of the financial software package we use here at and is being rolled out at Vanderbilt. So I would appreciate any information you are willing to share about the hospital and Nashville. Thanks!!!!! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ , I would like to extend my welcome to you. I too am rather new to this group and as yet to not have an official diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis. I did take a backseat for a while with this groups during hte later part of Oct through about a week ago. Trying to get back into the swing of things myself. I have a feeling I will get the diagnosis at my next doctor's appointment on December 20. My history includes gall bladder removal (stones), Nissen Fundo surgery, 6 Endoscopies, 1 colonoscopy (polyps removed), 2 sigs (one for bleeding after the colonoscopy), 1 ERCP with Spinctometry, passings stone after gall bladder removal, chronic diarrhea, IBS, stomach motility disorders, Esophagitis (4th grade ulcerations), hiatal hernia, bleeding hemrroids, steat (too much fat in stools), and in the last 2 weeks have started on Pancrease MT 10 to help with digestion. This is a partial list of what my healthcare has been the past 2 - 3 years. Please share your story and questions again. If I can, will try to answers any questions you have, though I am sure others here would be much better at it... ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Hope everyone is have a GOOD day.... Lots of Hugs ReeAnn ________________________________________________________________________________\ _____ Get more from the Web.
