Guest guest
Kathy, Your experience sounds familiar to me. I had a few times when I suddenly experienced severe symptoms that just as suddenly disappeared. It felt like a switch got flipped on and off again. I don't want to rain on your parade, Kathy, but even though you responded very well to the AP, you still can get flares. They generally will be milder and it will be longer between flares. I know, it gets scary when you feel you are in remission and then experience a set-back.We call it the two step forward, one step back " dance " of AP. It is not like that for everybody, but generally AP is considered a long road, with ups and downs. Even though it is not always smooth sailing, AP offers us a chance to get our lives back without killing us in the process.
