Guest guest
, You look thinner now and weigh more because our bones are heavier now after being obese for so long. That is why we can weigh more but look thinner. Cheryl
Guest guest
Why are my bones heavier? My mother in law is down to 120 and she looks like a bag of bones- I do have muscle and I think that is part of the weight- I lost the fat and kept the muscle- although I did also loose muscle. >From: caiben@... >Reply- > >Subject: RE: to linda >Date: Mon, 08 Aug 2005 16:03:02 +0000 > >, > >You look thinner now and weigh more because our bones are heavier now after >being obese for so long. Guest guest
Actually, my doctor told me that if I didn't lift weights and keep my calcium way up, my bones would not be nearly as strong as they were when I carried around an additional 100 pounds. The bones are stronger the heavier you are, generally according to my doctor, because of the weight they're carrying. He wanted me to keep up the strong bones by lifting weights. My mother-in-law is probably 85 pounds dripping wet (under 5' tall) - has probably never weighed more than 100 pounds even 9 mons pregnant with a 9 lb baby; never been heavy in her life and has bird bones - problems with osteoarthritis, etc. My doc says a werid bonus from being heavy is having strong bones??? 1/13/04 O'Neill <threedognitemare@...> wrote: Why are my bones heavier? Guest guest
This might be another reason.....muscle 'weighs' more than fat. Comparing volume.....muscle is heavier than fat....if you think about a measuring cup filled with fat and a measuring cup filled with muscle..the muscle outweighs the fat, even tho the volume is equal. Guest guest
Soheila, I think he is in his office next week, but not sure. My appointment is 9/8 and I wish it was sooner. Verizon is good, I have it. How long have you been seeing him? On Aug 25, 2008, at 4:35 PM, soheila A wrote: > Hi > > Dr. Whitman is my doc too. My next appointment is Sep 3rd. Guest guest
Hi  I've been seeing him for almost a year and half. I see him in new york. He sees some patients in hospital for special surgery on wednesdays. not all wednesdays in a month though.I don't have health insurance and the hospital has put me on low income catagory. So I am able to see Doctors in the hospital. I guess Dr. whitman just see very few patients in NY. The other doctors in the hospital don't believe in AP and Dr. Whitman is not very comfortable to prescribe AP in the hospital. My first prescription for minocin was from Dr. Trentham in Boston. I am really happy with Dr. Whitman. He really cares about his patients. He knows that I don't have money and health insurance.so he accepted to see me in the hospital.   soheila > > > It's funny when I go to the docs with my uncle or anyone I can tell > > the doc > > just what I want but for me to do it to my own doc its very hard to > > do. Guest guest
Hi Soheila, I like him for the fact that he does see people without money and insurance. I am on Medicare (age 66), so I see him in Berkeley Hts, NJ. He gives me a lot of time when I see him, and he is really nice. But I have been seeing him since last January and I can't say I am better. I was already on Doxy when I went to him, and he switched me to Minocin, which is better for my neck and in other ways, I guess, but I am still feeling lousy. What do you have? It's sort of weird that nothing hows up in my blood! And yet I have inflammation in all my joints. He says that about 20% of people with " RA " have no blood markers, so I guess that's it. But I also have a tear in my left fascia just above the si joint, and my worst pain is there. Dr W does not know what to do for that--it's unrelated to the seronegative arthritis. Guest guest
Yay....I am glad he is back....his patients are soooo lucky to have him...I would trade all of my other DRs for one DR W...oh, if I get a wish, it would be that he were closer...say in Ohio :>)) Re: rheumatic To linda rheumatic > Soheila, > I think he is in his office next week, but not sure. My daughers blisters are on the buttocks and back thighs, so it seems to be much easier to try the vinegar on that area. It doesnt seem to be any harifollicles where she has the blisters though, but I will definately try your suggestion. Hope you had a great new years and talk to yousoon again. Happy New Year to all. I just wanted to let you know that what I believe I've had is called folliculitis... I've been rinsing my hair after shampooing in the shower with vinegar. I told you about it a while ago and that I would give you an update. This stuff works. I think I've completely gotten rid of the folliculitis. I read on the internet how it worked for others and it appears at about 1-1/2 weeks to be working. I shampoo hair 2x, put on some cream rinse and let it sit for a while, rinse that off, then put on apple cider vinegar and let it sit on the hair for about 3-4 minutes, then rinse that off. My hair smells like vinegar even after rinsing it off, but that is okay for the time being. I just got my hair cut and you could really smell the hair when the hair dresser was cutting the hair. I didn't say anything about it. It appears that it is gone. I'll give more updates later. You have to be careful not to get the vinegar in the eyes when doing the hair. But this is all doable in the shower. Most likely is better than bleach. Hugs,

Guest guest
Hi Whenever I get bit on the legs I use only solid wood or plastic chairs, it stops it or 5 gallon bucked washed daily . Apolstered furnutue , meaning my cars seats & carpet , I soak w/ 1 cup borax & 1 cup liquid spick n span & 1 gal of water & set vac dry ,then point a hair dryer at it for 12-36 hrs & it dries to a crisp & remains bugless for 2 weeks . I apply baking soda daily yo keep it safe. Repeat . I use a dollar store 9X12 plastic sheet over it if I need to drive it before it is dry. Using borax water keeps the wet apolstry from turning rancid whit it is dring with a hair dryer ... I am going to try the ozone generator . Anybody know a good one ? God bless you , Bill Ps: Its Sunday , no work today yea : After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come.
