Guest guest
HI Pearl, Curry powder is according to my dictionary...a powder prepared from tumeric and various other spices , as coriander, cumin, cayenne pepper, used as seasoning in cooking ,originally in India. I`m glad you asked because I neglected to mention that it`s easy to get too much curry into your dish. With curry powder less is better and too much is inedible. Start with a touch and move cautiously. I think curry is best thoroughly cooked in with the dish. You can put it on just about any veggies ,meat rice or legume or all of the above together. Be careful with it if you are prone to heart burn. Enjoy! Hope you like it. If you hear of any recipes a vegan might like please let me know . Blessings, Diann P.S. You know the saying about the " spice " of life, spices on a resticted diet...oooolala. read up and check out your local store`s spices. I love rosemary on about anything. Guest guest
Parsley is loaded with minerals - add the last half hour of stock- making! Eat some after your meal - freshens your breath and aids digestion. Peace, Zoë On May 2, 2007, at 11:11 AM, Bee wrote: > > > > > I have an abundance of fresh parsley in my garden. Guest guest
> > What about freezing the parsley? Yes, you can freeze fresh parsley but afterward it can only be used in soup. I dry parsley, crush it up and put it in a spice bottle. Bee
Guest guest
This is for all of you looking for new recipes for stuff you can eat. I gat it from Doctor Berg web site. I have not tried it. The comments are his. As you might know, kale is my favorite vegetable due having more nutrients than any other vegetable. It also lessens the risk of many types of cancer. It's loaded with vitamin K, A and C. I found a great way to consume kale and it even might be a way to get your kids to get some high quality greens into their bodies. Take 1 cup of kale and chop it real fine. Then take 2 ripe bananas and the mix the kale into a blender. Now add 1 cup of water. Blend for 1 minute. Slug away - it's not bad!
