Guest guest
>>>>How did the radio show go? I read this message a couple hours ago and just thought (minutes ago)I should get the radio station's phone number so I could call (Tuesday) even though I wouldn't get the station in Kansas (tomorrow). About the time I started to reply I figured out the show is over. So, again, how did it go? Dennis --------------------------------------------------------------------------------\ ---------------------------------------------------- Thanks for enquiring Dennis - actually, the radio show went so much better than we could have hoped for. We had many phone calls during the show, all positive except for one. For those interested, let me explain. We were involved in an hour long live radio broadcast last night at the Wisconsin Public Radio studio. We were able to explain our situation in dealing with 9 counts of selling unprocessed milk from our farm (as charged by the Department of Trade and Consumer Protection, (DATCP). If you would like to know more about our story please visit our web site: http://www.midvalleyvu.com After presenting our story the phone lines were opened up for callers to give their comments and questions. The calls were tremendous, and offered 99% backing of our situation. To put it mildly, DATCP was made a fool of as no one could figure out why they have chosen to " pick on us " . All but one caller was in our favor, and stated very boldly that " the people " should have the right to choose the food they want to consume. The one caller that was negative was no doubt planted by the people of DATCP, we could tell this by the lack of backing in her claims against raw milk. The calls after her " claim against raw milk " were coming in so fast that many of them had to be turned away in the end, as our time was up. Our show could have run for another half an hour just to answer the extra phone calls coming in. All in all it was a wonderful experience! We did not expect the public to back us so fully! And the best part was that we informed the public of our plight. Many of the callers had no idea of what we're dealing with, and offered support in many different ways. In order for us to win this fight and have these charges dropped, we need public support. We need people to step forward and voice their comments. If DATCP gets flooded with letters, emails and phone calls they will have no choice but to drop this suit against us. We've heard that DATCP intends to drag this out as long as possible, so that the public forgets about it. We can't let them get away with this! If you would like to help in our fight we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks to all, Wayne and Janet Brunner wajabrun@...
